Space (“The Imagination Station”, fan spoken version) is a Canadian television channel, launched in 1997, that airs mainly horror films, sci-fi and fantasy pics, paranormal-related programs, documentaries and others. Daily programs include news too. The channel broadcasts both original and acquired production. The most known shows of the second type are series “Doctor Who”, “Orphan Black” and “Castle”. Re-runs of once popular shows also take place. Channel’s production seems to cover many cultural phenomena: geek and nerd cultures, theories of conspiracy, new trends in games and technologies, interviews with authors of the books of channel’s mainstream genres and much more.
